Production Boost: Libya's Oil Output Rises to 1.413 Million Barrels

Libya’s oil production saw a modest increase in the past 24 hours, climbing by 3,000 barrels to reach a total of 1.413 million barrels, according to the National Oil Corporation (NOC). This marks a slight uptick from Monday’s production of 1.410 million barrels.

In its latest report released on Tuesday, the NOC also highlighted the production of 45,674 barrels of condensates and 203,207 barrels of natural gas equivalent. The combined output of crude oil, condensates, and natural gas reached 1.662 million barrels.

This production increase comes amidst reports of disruptions in the “Oil Crescent” region. Earlier today, protests led to the closure of the key oil terminals of Sidra and Ras Lanuf. Furthermore, the tanker “Alfa Vindlandia” was reportedly prevented from loading 600,000 barrels of crude oil at the Sidra port. The protesters are demanding the relocation of the headquarters of five oil companies from Tripoli to the production areas.
