Prime Minister of the national unity government, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, and Attorney General Al-Siddiq Al-Sour held a meeting on Wednesday to discuss methods for reinforcing the rule of law and protecting the rights of Libyan citizens. The two officials concentrated their discussion on guaranteeing that laws are enforced in a just and transparent manner, to establish public confidence in Libya’s governing bodies.
Attorney General Al-Sour emphasized the critical requirement for collaboration between the government and the judicial system, in addition to the significance of respecting human rights in all legal procedures.
Dabaiba reaffirmed the government’s support to the Public Prosecutor’s Office in fighting corruption and criminal activity. They also addressed various legal difficulties and potential solutions to accelerate the implementation of judicial rulings.
