Director-General of the Development and Reconstruction Fund of Libya, Engineer Belkacem Khalifa Haftar, recently toured the city of Derna to inspect ongoing reconstruction projects. He was accompanied by the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Naji Issa, and his Deputy Marai Al-Barasi, and members of the Central Bank’s Board of Directors. The visit focused on assessing the progress of several key initiatives, including the construction of bridges, Derna port, and the new public housing project which is reportedly 80% complete and will provide over 3,000 apartments,. The delegation also visited Derna Sports City.
