The Secretary-General of the General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, First Lieutenant General Khairy al-Tamimi, received the Consul-General of the Hellenic Republic to Libya, Mr. Agapios Kalogriomis, and his accompanying delegation, at the General Command headquarters in Rajma, Benghazi.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on several files of mutual interest, which would contribute to strengthening and developing relations between the State of Libya and the Hellenic Republic, particularly in the vital security, diplomatic, and economic spheres.
The two sides emphasized the paramount importance of continuing coordination and effective communication between them, in order to enhance the regional stability and support opportunities for joint cooperation in the upcoming stage, in light of the rapid developments witnessed regionally and internationally.
For his part, the Greek Consul-General expressed his sincere appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality, commending the pivotal role played by the General Command of the Libyan Armed Forces in supporting efforts to achieve stability in Libya.
