A delegation from the Ministry of Oil and Gas in the Libyan Government of National Unity concluded its active participation last Friday in the activities of the “Petro Africa Conference,” which was hosted by the Tunisian capital from April 8th to 11th.
The Ministry clarified in a statement that the Libyan delegation was active during the conference, holding a series of fruitful meetings with major companies operating in the energy sector, with the aim of strengthening cooperation frameworks and expanding the scope of international partnerships in the vital oil and gas fields.
The statement indicated that the Libyan participation was organized by the National Oil Corporation in cooperation with the Tunisian National Oil Activities Company, and was broad and represented by a high-level government delegation.
The tenth edition of the exhibition witnessed active participation alongside the Ministry of Oil and Gas and the National Oil Corporation, with the attendance of approximately 30 Libyan companies specializing in the fields of oil, gas, and insurance, in addition to a number of officials, CEOs, stakeholders, and experts in this sector. The exhibition management announced that this event attracted nearly 20,000 visitors and witnessed the organization of 30 specialized conferences, with the participation of more than 30 exhibitors and approximately 100 speakers.
