The Great Tripoli Sports Hall hosted the fifth round of the final coronation stage of the Libyan Volleyball Championship, where Ahli Tripoli achieved a hard-fought victory over their rival Ahli Benghazi by three sets to two.
The first set saw Ahli Benghazi take the lead, winning it 15/25, but Ahli Tripoli quickly regained their balance and managed to equalize by winning the second set 28/31. In the third set, Ahli Benghazi returned to assert their dominance and won 16/25, but Ahli Tripoli showed strong determination and managed to turn the tables in the decisive fourth and fifth sets, winning them 22/25 and 10/15 respectively.
In another match of the round, Ittihad team achieved a well-deserved victory over Afriqi Zliten team by three straight sets, in the encounter held at the Tripoli Sports Hall, with the set scores as follows: 23/25, 16/25, 22/25, showcasing Ittihad’s clear superiority throughout the match.
Nasr team also managed to achieve a difficult and epic victory over Asarya team by three sets to two, in the match that brought the two teams together at the Rajab Okasha Hall. Asarya team took the lead in the first set with a score of 21/25, but Nasr team came back strongly and managed to win the second set 19/25. In the third set, Asarya regained the lead by winning 15/25, before Nasr decided the match in their favor after snatching victory in the dramatic fourth set 32/34 and the fifth set 13/15. Concluding the matches of this exciting round, Ittihad Misurata achieved a well-deserved victory over Hilal by three straight sets, in the match held on Tuesday evening at the Great Tripoli Hall, with the scores of the three sets in favor of Ittihad Misurata as follows: 20/25, 20/25, 23/25, allowing the team to continue their strong and distinguished performances in the championship.
