The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports in the State of Palestine, Issam Al-Qadoumi, sent a letter of thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Youth in the Libyan Government of National Unity, Fathallah Al-Zani, expressing his deep gratitude to the active role played by the Ministry in supporting and advocating for the just Palestinian cause, and affirming Libya’s principled stance alongside the Palestinian people, especially in light of the current challenges and circumstances facing the cause.
This letter came following the successful visit of the Palestinian delegation to the Libyan capital, Tripoli, which culminated in the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Libyan and Palestinian sides. This agreement primarily aims to empower youth in both countries and expand the horizons of joint work in various youth and sports fields.
Al-Qadoumi expressed his sincere gratitude and great appreciation for the warm reception and generous hospitality accorded to the Palestinian delegation in Libya, affirming that this strategic partnership will effectively contribute to launching many new and innovative youth programs and initiatives that serve the aspirations of Arab youth in general and work to strengthen and deepen the ties that unite the State of Libya and the State of Palestine. It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Youth in the Libyan Government of National Unity has given special attention to the Palestinian cause and has been keen to highlight and integrate it into its various activities and programs, whether through hosting official and popular Palestinian youth delegations, or by dedicating slogans and symbols supporting the Palestinian cause in various youth and sports forums and gatherings.
