The “Ni’ma” project has been awarded third place in the “Silphium” business incubator competition, a leading initiative within the “Libya Startup” project that aims to support and promote entrepreneurship in Libya. The competition was organized by ION+, with generous support from the European Union in Libya, and the organizations SPARK Libya and Super Novae.
“Ni’ma” is an innovative entrepreneurial initiative centered around the concept of efficiently recycling bread and transforming it into a nutritious livestock feed product. In doing so, the project contributes to two fundamental goals: reducing food waste and promoting the principles of environmental sustainability.
The project stems from a deep human and environmental vision, based on the importance of appreciating the value of food and combating manifestations of wastefulness and extravagance. In addition, the project seeks to establish a recycling culture within Libyan society. The “Ni’ma” project team is led by the ambitious student Mohammed Saleh, alongside a select group of Libyan youth who believe in creating change.
