The Libyan club Madina has announced the mutual termination of its contract with the Egyptian coach, Tarek El-Ashry. This decision comes just days before the start of the first stage of the final six tournament in the Libyan Premier League, scheduled for April 19th.
El-Ashry took over the coaching of Madina’s first football team last December, succeeding Tunisian coach Said Al-Saibi, and quickly led the team to qualify for the final six tournament, a notable achievement during his short tenure.
This role marks El-Ashry’s fourth coaching experience in Libya, having previously managed Nasr, Ahli Tripoli (with whom he won the Libyan Premier League title), and Ahli Benghazi clubs.
