Dr. Saltana Al-Mismari, the Libyan House of Representatives member, has taken a prominent role in a dialogue session organised by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) School of Science for Peace programme. The session, held as part of ongoing events in Al-Salt, Jordan, brought together a distinguished group of experts in science, technology, governance, and ethics.
Al-Mismari served as both a facilitator and a key speaker during the session, where discussions centred on leveraging artificial intelligence to support inclusive policies and the resolutions issued by the IPU and the United Nations regarding its applications in fostering peaceful coexistence. The multifaceted legislative and executive considerations surrounding AI were also a key focus of the dialogue.
The programme, which concludes on May 9th, aims to foster a vital exchange of perspectives on the future of technology in serving communities and building global peace.
