The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, conducted a comprehensive inspection tour within the Military City. Haftar was accompanied on this tour by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Counselor Aqila Saleh, and the Head of the Libyan Government, Dr. Osama Hamad, in addition to prominent Armed Forces leaders and several guests who attended the grand military parade.
The tour included visits to a range of modern training facilities equipped with the latest advanced technologies, aiming to ensure the qualification of Armed Forces personnel to the highest standards of efficiency and professionalism.
The Commander-in-Chief lauded the pivotal role played by the Chief of Staff of Security Units, Lieutenant General Khaled Haftar, in directly overseeing the city’s establishment and monitoring its construction phases, until it reached this advanced level of integration and organisation. He also commended the infrastructure and advanced equipment provided in the military city, affirming that it constitutes an exemplary environment for training and qualification.
Concluding his tour, the Commander-in-Chief emphasized the city’s strategic importance in enhancing individual capabilities and bolstering the Armed Forces’ capabilities. He indicated that it represents a genuine qualitative leap in the ongoing process of building the Libyan Army and offers an advanced model for modern military infrastructure in the country
