In the last eight, Alcaraz awaits a challenging clash against American Tommy Paul, ranked 12th globally. Paul had achieved a comfortable victory over Australia’s Alexei Popyrin in straight sets, with identical scores of 6-3, 6-3, 6-3, signalling a tough contest in the next round.
