France’s Ambassador to Libya, Mostafa Mihraje, met with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, Hannah Tetteh, to discuss the latest security situation in the capital, Tripoli. The meeting also focused on viable pathways to relaunch the country’s political process.
Mihraje expressed France’s full support for the UN mission’s recent statement regarding security developments in Libya, via a post on his official “X” account. The French Ambassador emphasised the critical importance of avoiding any potential escalation and the continuous effort required to achieve lasting stability in Libya.
