The turtle monitoring team affiliated with the Libyan Association for the Protection of Marine Life has achieved a significant milestone in biodiversity conservation efforts, successfully locating over forty nests of loggerhead sea turtles along the coast east of Benghazi. This achievement is the culmination of the team’s continuous efforts to monitor coastal areas and protect these endangered creatures, solidifying its reputation as a leading entity in marine turtle conservation in Libya.
The Association affirmed that this monitoring is crucially important for marine biodiversity protection, calling for support for such environmental initiatives to ensure continued collaborative work in safeguarding sea turtles and achieving further successes in the future.
