A new contingent of wounded military personnel has departed Libyan territory for the Russian Federation to receive specialised medical treatment. This deployment was conducted under the direct instructions of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, and was overseen personally by General Saddam Haftar, Chief of Staff of the Ground Forces of the LNA.
This journey forms part of an ongoing medical programme initiated by the general command of the armed forces, which aims to provide critical care for the wounded in several allied nations, most notably Russia.
The War Information Division affirmed that this measure underscores the general command’s sustained commitment to ensuring the highest standards of healthcare for those injured, in recognition of their profound sacrifices and valour in service of the nation.
