Tunisian tennis star Ons Jabeur has successfully progressed to the second round of the Berlin Open WTA 500 event, following a well-deserved victory over American qualifier Caroline Dolehide. The match concluded with a score of 7-6 (7-5), 6-1, a competitive encounter particularly in the opening set.
Dolehide began the match promisingly, managing to break Jabeur’s serve in the seventh game to take a 4-3 lead. However, Jabeur responded swiftly, forcing the set into a tie-break which she narrowly won 7-5. In the second set, Jaber asserted her dominance and showcased her superior play, securing the latter games for a comfortable win.
