The Head of the Libyan Government, Osama Hammad, undertook an official visit to the Minsk Tractor and Agricultural Machinery Plant in the Belarusian capital, Minsk. He was accompanied by a delegation including several Libyan and Belarusian ministers and officials.
During the tour, the Libyan delegation observed the latest manufacturing technologies for tractors and agricultural equipment. They engaged in extensive discussions with Belarusian officials regarding the possibilities of transferring expertise and advanced technologies to support and develop Libya’s agricultural sector.
Hammad emphasised the importance of expanding technical cooperation to encompass both the industrial and agricultural sectors, especially given the increasing demand for industrial and agricultural equipment in the Libyan market. He also highlighted available opportunities for establishing joint production projects to meet Libya’s local needs.
For his part, Belarusian Minister of Industry Andrei Kuznestov expressed his country’s eagerness to participate in joint projects aimed at developing agriculture in Libya, conveying his optimism about the anticipated outcomes of this bilateral cooperation.
