An expanded meeting took place at the headquarters of the Libyan Football Federation, chaired by Ms. Inas Mahmoud, a member of the Federation’s board of directors and head of the Women’s Football Committee. Members of the committee were present, alongside Mr. Ahmed Al-Basha, head of the Tripoli Sub-Football Federation.
The meeting was dedicated to discussing the mechanism for initiating a programme to prepare women’s football national teams. Initial plans were reviewed, and the necessary technical and administrative requirements for launching the programme were identified, aiming to develop a solid foundation for women’s national teams across various age categories.
During the meeting, Ms. Inas Mahmoud emphasised the importance of effective coordination among all sub-committees and training centres to ensure the success of upcoming preparation phases, in anticipation of prospective continental and international participations.
