Marshal Khalifa Haftar, the Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, received France’s Ambassador to Libya, Mostafa Mihraje, at his office at the General Command headquarters in Benghazi.
The meeting focused on discussing the latest political developments related to the ongoing Libyan crisis, in addition to reviewing current regional developments.
Both sides also explored ways to enhance and expand bilateral relations between Libya and France. During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance of French companies contributing to reconstruction and infrastructure projects, which are being overseen by the Development and Reconstruction Fund in Libya.
