Khalifa Abdelsadeg, the Minister of Oil and Gas in the Government of National Unity (GNU), met with Amin Nasser, the President and CEO of Saudi Aramco. The encounter took place on the sidelines of the ninth OPEC International Seminar, held on July 9 and 10 in Vienna, the Austrian capital.
During the meeting, both parties reviewed Aramco’s experience in energy transition and the sustainable energy policies adopted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They also explored opportunities for cooperation between Libya and Aramco across the oil, gas, and renewable energy sectors.
A delegation from the National Oil Corporation attended the meeting, including the board member for drilling and digital transformation affairs, and the director of the technical information department
