The Arab Basketball Federation has officially announced that the 26th edition of the Arab Men’s National Teams Championship will take place in the Kingdom of Bahrain from July 25 to August 2. This follows the Tunisian Federation’s withdrawal from hosting the event.
An elite group of Arab national teams will participate in the tournament, including Libya, Bahrain, Kuwait, Algeria, Egypt, Qatar, the UAE, and Tunisia, promising strong competition and a high technical standard.
Libya’s national basketball team enters this championship with considerable ambitions, striving to deliver a commendable performance and contend for the title in one of the most prominent regional tournaments for the sport.
Bahrain’s hosting of the event came after an urgent request from the Bahrain Basketball Association to embrace the championship. This move embodies the Kingdom’s steadfast commitment to supporting Arab sports and strengthening bonds of cooperation and competition among fraternal nations.
This championship is considered a crucial stop on the Arab basketball calendar, providing participating teams with a valuable opportunity for robust engagement and assessment of their readiness for upcoming continental and international commitments.
