Libya’s national basketball team has unveiled the list of players called up for its upcoming training camp in Tripoli, set to begin on Tuesday, 22 July 2025. The camp marks the first phase in the team’s preparation programme for the African Nations Championship, Angola 2025.
The squad includes: Mohamed Al-Saadi, Nassim Badrosh, Ahmed Al-Fallah, Abduljabbar Abu Farda, Wajdi Omran, Bakeer Al-Fallah, Mohamed Bouzqiya, Ali Al-Zanati, Hatem Al-Gharabi, Ali Nagy, Mohamed Al-Mabrouk, Nabil Al-Saadi, Ali Madi, Mohamed Dou, Sofyan Joumanji, Abdelkader Rizq, Ghaith Al-Rahman Muftah, Mahmoud Belhaj, Idris Ziyo, and Mahmoud Saeed.
Following this initial phase, the team is expected to head abroad for an external training camp — the second leg of preparations — in pursuit of peak readiness before the continental championship begins.
