Libya’s Oil and Gas Minister, Khalifa Abdel-Sadeq, met with acting National Oil Corporation chief, Masoud Suleiman, in Tripoli to discuss the country’s energy roadmap for the second half of 2025.
The meeting reviewed progress made since the start of the year and outlined strategic targets aimed at boosting production, particularly in natural gas, to meet domestic demand.
Discussions also addressed the financial crisis hampering project execution, with both sides exploring funding options for future initiatives.
Key developments included updates on the stalled South Refinery project, ongoing work at the North Jalu and NC98 fields, and the status of negotiations with international partners.
