Misrata Free Zone Port has received a major shipment of fuel and steel, marking a busy logistics window for the facility. According to official port data released Friday, the tanker Regiton arrived carrying 29,500 tons of gasoline imported from Italy. The shipment is designated for Brega Petroleum Marketing Company to meet domestic fuel demand.
In parallel, the port handled two additional vessels:
– The United S docked to prepare the export of 2,000 tons of locally manufactured steel (“Hadid Al-San’a”), with loading operations underway.
– Dock No. 9 welcomed the Sandal, carrying 1,245 tons of steel imported from Spain, further diversifying the port’s cargo profile.
