Algeria is preparing to host a major economic and industrial event in early September, as it welcomes the fourth edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair from September 4 to 10, 2025.
Alongside the exhibition, Algeria will host the African Automotive Forum for the first time, scheduled for September 5 and 6, marking a significant step in its engagement with the vehicle manufacturing sector.
Broad International Participation
More than 27 global companies have confirmed their attendance, including well-established brands in the Algerian market, such as:
– Hyundai
– Nissan
– Chery
– Stellantis
– Isuzu
– Volkswagen
Key regional and international organizations will also be present, notably the African Association of Automotive Manufacturers and the Turkish Automotive Manufacturers Association, in addition to startups seeking partnerships and investment opportunities.
Forum Agenda and Site Visits
The forum will be attended by senior executives from leading automotive firms, including Martina Biene, President of Volkswagen Africa, as well as representatives from Porsche, Hyundai, and Nissan.
The program includes field visits to Algerian factories specializing in auto parts production, along with major public institutions.
Over two days, the forum will feature eight workshops led by the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), in collaboration with the African Association of Automotive Manufacturers. The sessions aim to develop a roadmap for accelerating local manufacturing and advancing sustainable vehicle production across the continent.
