Lieutenant General Khairi al-Tamimi, the secretary-general of the General Command, welcomed the Greek consul-general in Libya, Agapius Kalognomos, and his accompanying delegation at the Command’s headquarters in Benghazi. The meeting focused on a range of shared files to deepen bilateral relations between the two countries.
For his part, the Greek consul expressed his thanks and gratitude for the role of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, the General Commander of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, for the support and facilities provided to the Greek consulate during his time in Libya.
Both sides affirmed the importance of continuous communication to facilitate diplomatic work and to enhance bilateral cooperation frameworks across various fields.
