The national school team has concluded its participation in the Arab School Sports Tournament, held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, with a notable achievement: two bronze medals in futsal and basketball.
The Libyan delegation took part in the competition, which ended last Wednesday, with teams in both futsal and basketball, as well as submitting a scientific paper as part of the student forum held alongside the tournament.
In the third-place play-offs, the futsal team defeated its Saudi counterpart 9-5 to secure the bronze medal. Similarly, the basketball team also overcame the Saudi team 89-88 in a thrilling match for third place, thereby claiming a bronze medal of its own.
With these results, the school team has made its mark on the podium in two of the most important collective sports at the Arab level.
