The Chargé d’affaires at the Libyan Embassy in Paris, Fathi Omeyma, has received the new French Ambassador to Libya, Thierry Vallet, at the Libyan Embassy in the French capital. During the meeting, Omeyma expressed his hope to enhance the bonds of friendship between Libya and France and to develop areas of bilateral cooperation in the interest of both peoples.
For his part, Ambassador Vallet affirmed his keenness to advance relations to broader horizons, stressing that his tenure will focus specifically on strengthening the partnership between the two countries, building on their historical ties.
Both sides emphasised the importance of continued coordination and consultation on shared issues, while also stressing the need to enhance cooperation in various fields.
