The Libyan Karate Federation is hosting the Libyan Karate Clubs Championship, which is considered a crucial step for selecting the distinguished athletes who will represent the national team in the North African Championship, scheduled to be held in Egypt on September 23.
The championship is set to take place in Benghazi, starting on September 11, and will last for three days at Al-Ahly Benghazi Club hall. It is expected to see wide participation from more than 700 athletes representing 80 clubs from different regions of Libya, who will compete in both Kata and Kumite disciplines.
The Libyan General Karate Federation has clarified that participation is open to all clubs and academies with an unlimited number of players, provided they are registered with the federation for the 2025 season.
