To establish Libya as a strategic bridge linking African gas supplies to European markets, the capital city of Tripoli is preparing to host a high-level international forum. Officially launched by the Ministry of Oil and Gas and the National Oil Corporation (NOC), this forum is the only official event of its kind in the Libyan-African gas sector.
The forum is scheduled to be held on December 6 and 7, 2025, and is expected to bring together energy ministers, NOC leaders, African gas producers, international operators, and investors. The event is organised by IN-VR, in partnership with S&P Global.
The forum will also explore gas opportunities in the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors, with the participation of senior officials from the National Oil Corporation and the Gas Exporting Countries Forum. This meeting aims to strengthen strategic partnerships between Libya and the African and European gas markets.
