Sameer al-Nibal, Head of the Marine Services Department at the Port of Julianah Free Zone, announced that the port received 71 commercial ships in August. This included 36 container ships, 5 car carriers, 10 bulk cement carriers, 2 asphalt tankers, 1 barley vessel, and 4 general cargo ships.
The port’s oil terminal also received 13 fuel tankers, loaded with shipments of gasoline, diesel, cooking gas, and heavy fuel oil.
Al-Nibal confirmed that the Julianah Free Zone management utilized its resources to ensure fast and safe unloading operations, with customs and administrative procedures completed to deliver the goods on time.
