Libya’s national football team continued its impressive run in the World Cup qualifiers, with a 2–0 win over Eswatini at Benghazi Stadium. The result lifts Libya to 14 points, placing them third in the group standings behind Cape Verde (16 points) and Cameroon (15 points).
Muad Issa opened the scoring in the 8th minute, followed by a second goal from Azzu Al-Marami in the 19th, giving Libya a comfortable lead by halftime, a scoreline they maintained until the final whistle.
