During an official visit to Malta, Taher Al-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Libya’s Government of National Unity (GNU), conducted an inspection tour of the Libyan embassy in Valletta on Wednesday. The visit aimed to assess workflow across departments, with particular attention to consular affairs and services provided to Libyan nationals, including students, businessmen, and their families.
Al-Baour listened to feedback from embassy staff and expressed appreciation for their efforts, wishing them success in fulfilling their duties, according to a statement from the Foreign Ministry.
Earlier in the visit, Al-Baour held talks with Maltese Foreign Minister Ian Borg, focusing on pressing issues such as irregular migration and joint border management between the two countries.
