Voluntary Repatriation of Bangladeshi Migrants from Libya

On Wednesday, Libya’s General Directorate for Combating Illegal Migration oversaw the repatriation of a group of Bangladeshi nationals through Mitiga International Airport, as part of a voluntary return program coordinated by the Ministry of Interior and relevant authorities. The initiative aims to regulate migrant status while ensuring humane treatment in line with international human rights standards, and upholding national legislation governing migration.
