Following a goalless draw in the first leg held last week in Addis Ababa, Libyan club Al-Ittihad is gearing up for a decisive second-leg clash against Ethiopia’s Welayta Dicha in the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The match is set to take place this Friday at 19:00 Libya time, in Tripoli International Stadium, where a strong turnout of home supporters is expected. A win by any margin will secure Al-Ittihad’s qualification to the next round.
In preparation, the team continues its daily training sessions under the leadership of national coach Hamdou Bataou. The technical staff is focused on maintaining player readiness and building on the cohesion shown during the away fixture.
Al-Ittihad is aiming to capitalize on home advantage and deliver a result that keeps its continental campaign alive
