As part of its official celebration marking seventy years since its establishment, Libya’s Audit Bureau signed two memoranda of understanding with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
The agreements aim to enhance oversight tools and methodologies, strengthen human capacity, improve communication systems, and support digital transformation. They also open avenues for broader collaboration with international institutions to improve audit performance and reinforce transparency and anti-corruption indicators.
This step reflects the Bureau’s strategic policy of engaging with international and regional partners to ensure institutional effectiveness in safeguarding public funds and upholding principles of transparency and accountability.
