On the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dabaiba met with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, in Davos, Switzerland.
The meeting focused on discussing ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries across various fields, as well as addressing regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Dabaiba praised Qatar’s efforts in reaching a ceasefire in Gaza in collaboration with Egypt and the United States, commending its role in supporting the Palestinian cause.
He reaffirmed Libya’s rejection of Israeli aggressions against Palestinians and emphasized the importance of intensifying international efforts to hold the Israeli occupation accountable and ensure the cessation of attacks on the Palestinian people.
Dabaiba underscored Libya’s full support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, particularly their right to establish an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
