Al-Menfi holds meeting with EBRD Vice President in Davos

President of the Presidential Council Mohamed al-Menfi met with the First Vice President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Jurgen Rigterink, in Davos, Switzerland, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting for 2025.
During the meeting, they discussed opportunities for cooperation between Libya and the EBRD in the areas of reconstruction and capacity building. They also explored ways to leverage the bank’s expertise, given its presence in numerous African, European, and Asian countries.
Both parties agreed to send a technical mission to Libya to assess the potential for joint efforts and support various Libyan sectors through reconstruction and development projects.
