A delegation representing Libyan business and the oil sector recently participated in the Arab-Italian Forum held in Rome. Mohamed Al-Ruaid, President of the Libyan General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, led the Libyan contingent, which included Anwar Abusitta, a board member of the Arab-Italian Chamber of Commerce, and Mabrouk Darbash, Director of Governmental Communication at the National Oil Corporation.
The forum served as a platform for discussions on enhancing cooperation in trade and industry, promoting bilateral trade, and exploring potential investment opportunities.
High-profile attendees included Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Arab Federation of Chambers of Commerce President Samir Majoul, Arab Federation of Chambers of Commerce Secretary-General Khaled Hanafy, and several Arab ambassadors.
