Zintan city celebrated a significant milestone with the grand opening of its new sports complex. The ceremony drew government officials, community leaders, and sports icons, blending cultural performances, spirited competition, and tributes to local contributors.
The festivities began with music from the renowned Hassan Aribi Band, coinciding with the opening of a dedicated children’s park. The focus then shifted to the main stage, where proceedings commenced with recitations from the Quran, then the Libyan national anthem. and an awards ceremony followed, recognizing prominent figures from Zintan and Awlad Abu Aisha, including a special award for Al-Bunyan Al-Areeq Contracting Company for their role in the construction.
A highlight of the event was the dramatic equestrian display, “The Knights’ Pact,” and a documentary showcasing the complex’s modern. Finally, A football match between Al-Shorooq and Al-Wehda clubs was played
As evening approached, poets Karim Al-Wahishi, Mansour Al-Qailoushi, and Khalid Al-Zintani captivated the crowd with poetry, paving the way for a lively musical performance by artist Salah Ghali. The evening ended in a dazzling fireworks display that lit up the Zintan skyline, while 30 televisions were raffled off to lucky attendees.
