In a sporting achievement, Akarim Stables participated in the Zangersheide International Jumping Championship in Belgium, where its riders delivered impressive performances.
The championship, which took place from February 12th to 16th, witnessed the participation of Libyan riders Ashraf Al-Ash’al, Mohammed Al-Mazoughi, and Abdul Jawad Al-Misrati, who recorded remarkable results in the Sun Tower arena across various categories.
Rider Ashraf Al-Ash’al demonstrated high skill with his horse “Ike” in the 1.30-meter class, and completed a clean round with his horse “Darcy Featherstone” in the 1.25-meter class. Rider Mohammed Al-Mazoughi also achieved a clean round with his horse “Max VP” in the 1.20-meter class, while rider Abdul Jawad Al-Misrati achieved a clean round with his horse “Novo Nikki A” in the 1.20-meter class, and secured seventh place in the 1.15-meter class.
Officials at Akarim Stables confirmed that this participation represents part of a broader strategy to enhance the presence of Libyan equestrianism on the international stage.
The Zangersheide International Championship is considered one of the most prominent show jumping events worldwide, with the participation of over 100 riders from various nationalities.
