Patrols from the Law Enforcement Department of the General Administration of Security Operations continue their diligent efforts to secure Ras jdir land border crossing, through intensified round-the-clock patrols aimed at detecting and apprehending violations and combating various forms of illicit smuggling activities. According to the Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity, these intensified security efforts during the current week have resulted in the detection and seizure of many legal violations related to attempts to smuggle various materials and goods across the crossing, in addition to the arrest of the individuals involved in these operations and their referral to the Ras Ajdir Police Station to take the necessary legal measures after the completion of the initial investigations.
