The Libyan international weightlifter, Mohammed Al-Sharef Al-Zantani, has departed for Dammam in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to join a closed and intensive training camp that will last for nine months, with the aim of optimal preparation for upcoming international competitions.
This preparatory camp aims to equip the weightlifter Al-Sharef with physical and technical readiness to compete in the upcoming championships, foremost of which is the African Youth and Junior Championships scheduled to be held in Ghana next August, in addition to his anticipated participation in the Islamic Solidarity Games, which will be hosted by Riyadh, the capital of the KSA.
This qualitative training camp is being held within the framework of the joint and fruitful cooperation between the Libyan and Saudi Arabian Weightlifting Federations, as part of the strategic plans aimed at preparing and qualifying Libyan champions to represent their country and compete strongly for advanced positions in continental and international championships.
