Brigadier General Nour El-Din Al-Gritli, head of the illegal migrant shelter east of Tripoli, received on Monday morning a delegation from the consular affairs section of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The visit aimed to follow up on the conditions of migrants of Egyptian nationality, where delegation members were briefed on their situation inside the center, and they were registered and their data documented in preparation for completing the procedures for their repatriation to their country. This step comes within the context of consular cooperation between the Libyan and Egyptian authorities, ensuring respect for the humanitarian and legal aspects related to the issue of irregular migration.
