An official source in the Ministry of Oil and Gas has revealed the scheduled date for the fourth phase of the public bidding rounds that the National Oil Corporation (NOC), in cooperation with the Ministry, will launch in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey.
The source clarified, exclusively to Al-Manassa, that the fourth phase in Turkey will commence today, April 17th, 2025, and is expected to witness broad participation from leading Turkish companies in the oil and gas sectors, in addition to prominent European and Asian companies.
The source added that the third phase of the bidding rounds, launched by the NOC in London at the beginning of this month, recorded significant interest and momentum from international energy companies. The National Oil Corporation had announced at the beginning of last March the launch of a new public bidding round for oil exploration in Libya, the first of its kind in 17 years, as part of strengthening the country’s overall oil reserves and increasing production.
