Abu Janah arrives in Cuba for “One Health” conference

Eng. Ramadan Abu Janah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health-designate, has arrived in the Republic of Cuba following an invitation from the Cuban Minister of Health, Dr. José Miranda. This visit underscores his participation in the 5th edition of the International Health Conference – Cuba 2025, convened this year under the slogan: “One Health”.
Upon his arrival, Eng. Abu Janah was received by a representative of the Head of State and the Deputy Minister of Economy of Cuba. In a statement delivered on this occasion, Eng. Ramadan Abu Janah expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the government of Cuba for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him. He highly valued the participation in this significant event, noting that the conference serves as a valuable platform for the exchange of experiences and knowledge among various nations, and for discussing the common health challenges facing the world, in pursuit of innovative and effective solutions.
Eng. Abu Janah also affirmed the State of Libya’s interest in strengthening its international relations in the crucial health sector, and in exchanging expertise and fostering fruitful partnerships with friendly nations.
