The election committee of the Libyan General Judo Federation has announced the victory of Musa Mhamed Aqeel as the new president of the federation. His list secured four votes against one in the elections held with the participation of member clubs of the General Assembly. The voting process involved the following clubs: Ittihad Al-Shorta Club, Ittihad Al-Jumarek Club, Wesa’ait Abdiri Club, Watan Club, and Ben Zaidoun Club.
The upcoming phase under Aqeel’s leadership is anticipated to bring renewed impetus to the development of judo in Libya through programs and plans aimed at elevating the technical and organizational standards at both the national and international levels.
