The Libyan capital, Tripoli, became a vibrant hub of athletic prowess as it hosted the African Muay Thai Championship, with competitions unfolding at the late Rajab Akasha Sports Hall from April 16th to 19th, 2025. The championship boasted participation of 150 athletes representing eight African national teams, alongside the national teams of Palestine and Jordan, who graced the event as honorary guests.
