The Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency has announced the repatriation of 407 illegal Nigerian migrants, as part of ongoing efforts to combat illegal migration in the southern region.
Colonel Ahmed Abu Qaila, the official spokesperson for the agency, explained that the repatriation operation commenced from the agency’s branch in Sabha, transiting through the Doom border crossing and culminating at the Madama border crossing, in preparation for their return to their home country.
The operation was carried out under the directives of the agency’s commander and the direct supervision of the southern region commander. Abu Qaila affirmed that this operation is part of a series of measures aimed at curbing the phenomenon of illegal migration.
