The General Commander of the Libyan Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, has arrived in the Russian Federation on an official visit, following a formal high-level invitation extended by the Russian side. According to the Media Office of the Libyan General Command, Marshal Haftar was received by the Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, First Lieutenant General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, amidst formal welcoming ceremonies befitting the importance of the visit and the bilateral relations between the two nations.
